Former UFC competitor and The Ultimate Fighter participant Jeremy Jackson has been sentenced to 25 years to life, stemming from a 2008 rape of his former girlfriend.<BR><BR>
California?s Ventura County Superior Court issued a ruling on Monday according to a report from the Ventura County Star. Jackson pleaded guilty on Dec. 13 to multiple charges that stemmed from the alleged June 2008 incident, including forcible rape.<BR><BR>
According to the report, Jackson sent a series of ?erratic and threatening? text messages to the unnamed Oxnard, California, woman before raping her at gunpoint with a BB gun. It?s alleged that Jackson later admitted to planning the crime in secretly recorded telephone conversations.<BR><BR>
Jeremy Jackson will officially exit the sport with a 9-5 professional mixed martial arts record. He last competed at Total Combat 19 in March of 2007. He earned a first round TKO victory to prematurely close out an up-and-down MMA career.<BR><BR>
Jackson?s problems away from the cage have been well documented for years.<BR><BR>
