Penick's Analysis: This is a surprising cut considering it was the first loss he's ever suffered, but losing decisively on the unaired preliminary card doesn't do a fighter any favors. It's all about winning right now in the UFC, and unless you have an established name or run in the organization, you'll have very little leeway in terms of losing fights. Robertson wasn't the first, and he won't be the last, but hopefully for him he can get back on track and make his way back to the big show eventually.
